Mukesh Mill
This
mill is famous for film shooting, especially horror films. This place also counts
in the top 10 hunted places. Mukesh Mill was built in
the year 1852. Used to make clothes in this mill built on ten acres of land. In
the year 1970, due to the Mukesh Mill Shot Circuit, the fire was scorched for
the first time, but after two years, the mill started running smoothly again.
After almost a decade, this mill again came under fire, it was so terrible that
almost every corner of Mukesh Mill was burnt to ashes. Mukesh Mill turned into
ruins.
After these incidents this mill turned into a shooting spot, the song “Chumma - Chumma” from the film ‘Hum’ and many more films and songs shoot here, the last song in this mill is “Poster” from ‘Luka Chupi’. But now the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has issued a notice and prohibited the shooting of films, etc. BMC says that this building has now become extremely weak.
According to a story, an actress of the past asked the crew of the film to go in a manly voice. The director admits that a ghost has arrived on the actress and they have packed it up. A BMC official said that at some time there used to be a private dock in the mill premises.
