When we hear the word doll, we already imagine a beautiful thing in our minds. But what will happen when that cute doll is haunted

This place is Putul Bari in Kolkata also called 'A house of the doll'.

It is believed that at one time, the affluent owners living in this house took undue advantage of their power during that time. They raped the women at this place and then murdered them to keep their murder under the purview of crime. As a result, this place was affected by the tortured souls of women, who died at the hands of pathetic owners. By this, a house embellished with unique doll-like objects on the roof will surely scare the hell out of a place in a dark, moonlight night.

Daring visitors have tried to cross the boundaries of the house with the permission of current tenants to ascertain if the house is indeed haunted. To ban such unintentional visitors, a board has been formed to warn the incoming trespassers that the house is not haunted and that no one should bother residents to confirm those rumors. There have been cases when some local people have claimed that they never experienced any unnatural incident in the house.

Currently, almost all rooms in Putul Bari are inhabited by tenants, some of whom are not prepared to maintain it and others are not in a sound financial position to do so.
