This waterfall, named 'Eternal Flame', is located behind a waterfall in western New York. Compatible with Native Americans, it has been lit for thousands of years. For many years, scientists thought that the eternal flame in New York was being weathered by the gas produced by ancient rocks that were extremely hot. However, researchers of Indiana University found that the rocks below are not hot enough to make gas; which implies that something else is keeping the flame safe and they are unable to find the important reason behind such an appearance. Due to soil erosion, it makes the ground thicker and a hiker with roots is likely to slip. Rain can make the route slippery and dangerous.
