Shaniwar Wada Fort

Hello & Welcome to my blog mysterious facts & I’m here with another amazing mysterious story with a different mysterious place.

This fort is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Due to the foundation laying on Saturday, this fort was named 'Shaniwar Wada'. The inauguration of the fort concluded on Saturday, 22 January 1732.

The 9th Peshwa of the Maratha Empire was Narayan Rao from November 1772 until his assassination in August 1773.

After the fight with an uncle (Raghunath Rao), he put his uncle under house arrest. His uncle wrote a letter to Sumar Singh Gardi in which he wrote to capture the Narayan, but before the letter was sent Raghunath's wife (Anandi Bai) got the letter and changed the word from capture to kill.

Gardi’s army came to kill him as soon as they got the letter, after fighting with Narayan’s army, they reach Narayan, he got afraid and screamed “uncle save me” and started running towards uncle’s room.

According to the maintenance workers of the fort, there is the sound of screaming and crying on nights.

So, it is believed that the sound which is heard on Saturday night is of Narayan Rao.

Haunted Villa

Vas villa-St. Hello & Welcome to my blog mysterious facts & I’m here with another amazing mystery. This villa is located in St. marks road, Bangalore. Vas Villa was a collapsing old house, with a blue rusted Hillman Minx standing in front of the house gate. If one is to believe the stories, this house was built in 1943 by a certain E J Vas who was a reputable lawyer in Bombay High Court. He gifted the house to his two daughters who remained unmarried all their lives and lived in this house. Until 2002, everything was OK and it was just another house; but after that, this residence of two elderly ladies turned into a weed-infested derelict mansion; and gained a notorious reputation for being one of the most haunted houses.
