Lothian Cemetery, Delhi
Hello & Welcome to my blog "Mysterious Fact" I am going to tell the story of the cemetery. This place is located near to the General Post Office at Kashmiri Gate in old Delhi.
The location of this graveyard is a dense forest with trees. It was built by the British in 1808 as a Christian cemetery. This cemetery is used by the British only to bury the bodies of British or Indian Christians between 1808 and 1867.
The Cemetery is like a unicorn without a haunted story. Every graveyard or graveyard is associated with some superstitious horror story. There are two interesting stories about this cemetery.
The first story is about a heart broker lover where a British soldier named Sir Nicholas was in love with an Indian woman and the woman turned down his offer. So in that pain, he broke his head and died whose body is buried here.
Since then a headless ghost roams the cemetery, which is claimed to be the ghost of Sir Nicholas. And the most interesting thing is that on moonlit nights the ghost will become powerful.
But it is said that only the body leaves, souls are bound in this crematorium, so they did not leave the crematorium. So two ghost groups, the Indian Ghost and the British Ghost, are fighting for the ownership of the cemetery.
However, believe it or not, the cemetery gives off a haunting feel even on peaceful mornings. But if they dare to believe in the stories then these are the best places for a homeless person to live happily here.
