Barog Tunnel

Hello & Welcome to my blog mysterious facts today I will tell you about a tunnel where souls reside.

Barog tunnel, located in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. this tunnel is also known as tunnel 33. it is 1143.61m long, the route of this tunnel is from Kalka to Shimla railway line.



A British engineer named "Colonel Barog" got the contract to make a tunnel. This tunnel started to be built in 1898, digging this tunnel was started from both sides. According to Colonel Barog, digging from both sides will come in the middle and the tunnel will be made. But the estimate of the colonel's turned out to be wrong, because of the wrong estimate of the colonel's the British government fined him Rupee 1.

The government said that the colonel wasted government money, as well as the workers got angry because their hard work was wasted. After all this, the colonel became very upset, and one morning taking his dog for a walk, shot himself.

After that, the tunnel work started again in 1900 and was completed in 1903. The government decided that the tunnel would be named after its engineer "Colonel Barog".


The local people believe that the spirit of the engineer still roams in this tunnel. This is the reason that no one goes near this tunnel at night. Local people also say that at night the sound of someone moaning comes from inside the tunnel. 

Although in reality, this tunnel is also very scary. If all the lights inside the tunnel are extinguished, then there is a very scary scene inside. After walking some distance inside this tunnel, you will find a tunnel, from where strange sounds come. The government also installed an iron door to close that tunnel, but one-day people found the lock of the door broken. Since then till today it has not been locked. One can go there and hear the creepy sounds.

Dow hill  Hello and Welcome to my blog mysterious facts I’m here with the second part of the mysterious place story "Dow hill". As we have already read the 1 st part about a headless boy, in the 2 nd part I’m going to tell you about the haunted school of Dow hill. Victoria boys high school In the forest of Dow hill, there is 100 years old, a school named ‘Victoria Boys High School, which counts among the hill's select haunted sites. According to the nearby people, there are many unnatural deaths surrounding this place, so they believe there is an evil power. During the winter vacations of school, locals heard the sounds of shouting and shouting from this school come more when this school is closed.
